Tools for File Sharing

As an interim solution, there are a number of free sites that allow you to save voice, video, and pictures to share in chats and channels. This thread lists some of those sites some members have used based on their preferences. Feel free to comment on your favorites particularly for ease of use by phone or other device.

Picture Sharing Sites
It’s always best if you can display images without requiring someone to download. I suggest avoiding drobox or other .com sites, since many will require downloads and because people may not want to access unknown file storage sites.LewdChat allows you to upload pictures and automatically deletes them within a few minutes of upload.
There are several free photo share sites with or without registration to manage the files you share if you want more direct control:
• imgbb – allows a limited amount of file sharing or viewing and includes automatic deletion which you select from a pull-down. If you register you can manage your files in albums and can delete before the expiration time
• unsee– anonymous uploads and views, it adds viewer IP address so the uploader knows who has seen the images. and auto deletion
• postimg – anonymous uploads & sharing with 1-, 7-, or 31-days expiration
• NSFWupload – requires an account, but your settings control whether image Exif data is retained on uploads, lets you flag NSFW pics and your default auto delete when you upload
• tinypic – limits storage to 30 MG, defaults to autodelete in 3 weeks. If you create an account, you can expire photos much sooner
• files.fm – picture and gif files. Anonymous files are deleted after 60 days, you need an email address to add, edit, delete the link. Registered accounts set expiration dates
• Veed.io – supports gif and other video formats. More complex tool to add and manage AV projectsimgur.com – While previously recommended because it supported photos and gifs, in 2023, their policy on NSFW photos changed allowing them to remove content at their discretion. Many continue to use the site, but there are an increasing number of 404 messages from some links there.

Audio Sharing Sites
If you like sharing naughty audio notes, there are several options:
• vocaroo – no auto deletion, but can be deleted manually if you save the URL, Site may eventually delete
• speakpipe – 3 months storage, 90 sec max duration
• whyp.it – 8 min max duration, requires registration to delete the file, set an expiration date, or prevent downloads
• Veed.io - Audio online recorder – automatic deletion in 24 hours, but link w/o downloads. Sign up if you want to keep the audios
