Hi lewdies! it’s to our attention that Spotify has a new feature that can potentially dox people unintentionally. This is the new "Spotify Messages" feature that has an included 'suggested friends' section that uses tracking data in Spotify's servers to suggest ANYONE who has ever clicked on a Spotify share link you created.

Spotify is not seen as a social network by most of us, and some of us have our IRL friends and family attached to our accounts in ways that can be seen publicly, which is why this is so dangerous.

To disable this feature you must use Spotify mobile, for some reason there isn't an option to turn it off on Spotify desktop that i've seen.
On Spotify mobile click on your account icon at the top left -> Click Settings and Privacy -> Click Privacy and Social -> Scroll to the bottom and disable Messages.
