Sup, everyone! I’m Vergil—better known as Daniel or, thanks to NotHere’s genius, The Verge. You might’ve caught wind of me as the guy with a passable voice and a knack for stirring up some lighthearted fun around here. For nearly six years, I’ve been a part of this community, and now I’m stepping up to apply for a moderator role to give back to this incredible space.
Why me for staff? I’m all in when it comes to helping out—whether it’s guiding new folks to find their place in our community, keeping things smooth by handling the occasional troublemaker with care or giving the boot to those who are dumb enough to advertise that it's past their bedtime. I bring a spark of energy but always keep it real, with no tolerance for power trips or unfair vibes. I’ve noticed we could use a few more eyes during those late-night weekend hours, and while our current staff are killing it, they need their rest and have their own personal lives to tend to, so I’m ready to jump in and cover those quieter shifts. My goal? To keep this community throbbing, I mean thriving, and just help out as best I can.Wouldn't let me edit my old post so... Yeah.
